Dry Skin Facial

The dry skin facial recipes below are an effective way to prevent and soothe dry skin. These dry skin masks contain ingredients such as honey for excellent hydration of the skin and natural oils to help moisturize the skin.


Lemon Dry Skin Facial Mask

2 egg yolks

1 teaspoon of olive oil

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Mix the egg yolks, olive oil, and lemon juice together. Prior to applying the facial mask, properly wash the face. Next, spread on the mixture and leave it on for ten minutes. Rinse off the mask.


Apricot Dry Skin Facial Mask

2 ripe apricots

2 tablespoons of plain yogurt

Purée the apricots and plain yogurt in a blender. Once fully puréed, apply the mixture to the face and avoid the eye areas. Leave the facial mask on for ten to twenty minutes and then rinse off.


Avocado Mask for Dry Skin Prevention

½ ripe avocado

1 egg white

Mash the ripe avocado into a thick paste. Add the egg white to the avocado paste. Apply the mixture to the face and leave it on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes. To remove the dry skin mask, rinse with lukewarm water.


Avocado Mask for Dry Skin

½ ripe avocado

1 teaspoon of vegetable oil

Mash the ripe avocado into a paste and then add the vegetable oil. Apply the mask to clean skin. Leave the dry skin facial mask on for ten to twenty minutes and then rinse with warm water.


Avocado and Banana Mask

¼ mashed ripe avocado

½ mashed ripe banana

2 tablespoons of plain yogurt (not low-fat)

1 teaspoon of wheat germ oil

Mix all of the ingredients together. Apply the mixture to the face and leave it on for approximately ten to fifteen minutes. Remove the facial mask with a tepid water rinse.


Avocado and Honey Mask

2 tablespoons of mashed ripe avocado

2 tablespoons of honey

1 egg yolk

Mix the mashed avocado with the honey and egg yolk. Apply the paste to the face and let it sit on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off the mask with warm water.


Dry Skin Mask with Honey and Egg

1 tablespoon of powdered milk

1 stiffly beaten egg white

1 egg yolk

1 teaspoon of honey

Combine the milk and egg white. Slowly mix in the egg yolk and honey. Apply to the face, leave it on for five minutes, and then rinse the face.


Basic Mask for Dry Skin

1 tablespoon of rose clay

1 tablespoon of instant oatmeal or finely ground regular oatmeal

1 teaspoon of honey

1 teaspoon of almond oil

1 drop of rose oil

1 drop of lavender oil

Use enough water to make a paste. Apply to the face for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off.
