Hives on Face and Antihistamines

I am the mother of a 4 year old girl. Who is dealing with dermagraphism. Her face has this red, bumpy rash that will not dissipate. IF she rolls around in the grass, like a 4 year loves to do, she breaks out in hives all over. Those hives do not last as long as the ones on her face. We have been to countless doctors and are always getting the same answers. Now I understand that this disease is not very well understood by doctors.
It seems that the more antihistamine medications she is given the less the antihistamine medications work. Unfortunately, the summer time is the hardest for her. My daughter is always sluggish and warn out during the summer months, but she sure is a trooper. If there is any information you may have for me to be able to help her better please contact me.
