Circular Itchy Red Rash - NOT Ringworm

This is the circular itchy red rash by my armpit,

I have had this for circular or oval shaped rash for about two to three weeks now and I have no clue what it could possibly be. I am a 17 year old girl. I have gotten this type of rash before but it eventually went away, but now it is back again. This is the third or fourth time it has happened and before I got the rash right around my belly button but now it is under my arm.

I first thought it was a ringworm rash and so my parents gave me some medicine for ringworm, but it hasn't really helped at all. This circular red rash is right above my armpit and if I touch it it becomes itchy. When I scratch the affected skin area it opens up like a wound and gets a bit sticky as if it had puss leaking out of it. It is the only rash I have and in the times before when I got this similar rash there would only be one circular patch of rash, no more would show up.

I would like to get this cured before the month is up since we will be going to the beach. So if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I have included a picture of the rash above. It is located in my armpit area.
