Anti Aging Facial Mask Recipes

The purpose of an anti aging facial is to reduce the signs of aging. The recipes below contain ingredients that are useful in reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Peach Tightening Mask

  • 1 ripe peach, peeled and pitted
  • 1 egg white

Whip the ripe peach and egg white together in a blender until smooth. Gently pat the mixture all over the face. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse off with cool water.

Anti Aging Facial

  • 2 teaspoons of plain yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 3 capsules of vitamin E (equivalent of 300 units)

Combine the yogurt, honey and lemon juice. Open the vitamin E capsules and fold the contents into the mix. Apply the facial to the face and leave it on the skin for 15 minutes. Rinse off.

Hearts of Palm Firming Mask

  • ½ cup of chopped hearts of palm
  • ¼ cup of wheat germ
  • ¼ cup of powdered milk
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • ¼ of a russet potato (scrubbed, not peeled)
  • 1 teaspoon of mint
  • ½ of a cucumber, unpeeled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 2 egg whites

Using a blender, mix all of the ingredients on low-med speed for 45 seconds. Apply the mixture to the skin. Let it sit for 15 to 25 minutes. Rinse. Refrigerate the remainder for future use, but discard it after three days.

Orange Juice and Tapioca Mask

  • 1 tablespoon of tapioca
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • ½ cup of fresh orange juice

In a small saucepan over low heat, mix tapioca and orange juice together. Stir in the honey and let the "pudding" simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool. Spread the mixture over the face and neck areas and let it dry on the skin. This should take approximately 20 minutes. Rinse.

Mask for Mature or Ageing Skin

  • 1 tablespoon of rose clay
  • 1 tablespoon of instant oatmeal or finely ground regular oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of avocado or almond oil
  • 1 drop of frankincense oil
  • 1 drop of neroli or lavender oil
  • 1 drop of rose oil

For this anti aging facial mask, use water to make a paste. Apply the mask mixture to the face for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Pat dry the face with a clean towel.
